During your appointment

  • I will review your health history form and talk about your goals before we start your session.

  • I strive to provide a safe and comfortable space and hope each client is empowered to communicate how I can best support their treatment.

  • I will keep everything within our sessions confidential.

  • I will always keep you draped in a safe and appropriate manner.

  • I will answer any questions you have about your session and treatment.

  • I will have open communication and dedicate my time in our sessions to treating your unique goals.

  • Privacy and safety standards will be in total compliance with the HIPAA laws. Due to the nature of massage therapy- safety practices and procedures in personal safety and medical health privacy will be followed.

  • While WA State law allows an adult to use illicit substances, such as marijuana or alcohol, they are direct contraindications to massage therapy. For this reason you are required to show up sober and will be refused service and billed for the session if this is observed or suspected to not be the case.

  • I as a practitioner do not discriminate based on gender, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation, races, religion, ancestry, income, color, military status, disability, marital status, vaccination status, age, creed, ethnicity.

  • It is mandatory for me as a massage therapist to report any signs of abuse according to the Washington State Department of Social and Health services.

  • Sexual interaction, sexual discussion, or solicitation of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NOT tolerated. In addition inappropriate behavior such as threats, violence, inappropriate touching, language, jokes, and/or references will be grounds for immediate termination of the massage and the client will be permanently dismissed from the clinic without discussion. For the protection of the therapist and clients, we reserve the right to end a massage session at any time. In the event that a massage session is terminated, the client may be charged for the entire session. We reserve the right to report inappropriate behavior to the proper authorities.
